Journey into Fear

Dropping The Cryptkeeper as a mascot, Halloween Horror Nights™ VI (1996) followed in the footsteps of the previous years by not having an Event Icon and remained this way until Jack the Clown debuted in Halloween Horror Nights™ X – You Don’t Know Jack (2000).

Despite the fact that The Cryptkeeper was not the mascot, he was still featured in the event, as he returned this year with an all new house, Cryptkeeper's Studio Tour of Terror (1996). This event was also the first year to see the Festival of the Dead Parade, which quickly became another iconic part of the event - returning annually until Halloween Horror Nights™ - Islands of Fear (2002).
