Halloween Horror Nights™ VII – Frightmares (1997) featured three haunted houses, and the return of the popular Midway of the Bizarre Scare Zone. One strong point of interest to this year’s event was the actual logo. To this day it remains one of the most recognized pieces of Halloween Horror Nights™ artwork, the image depicts a green demon biting the eyelid of a frightened victim, holding the eye open to gaze into the terror.

Halloween Horror Nights™ VII: Frightmares featured three Haunted Houses, and the return of the popular Midway of the Bizarre Scare Zone.
One strong point of interest to this year’s event was the actual logo - to this day it remains one of the most recognized pieces of Halloween Horror Nights™ artwork, the image depicts a green demon biting the eyelid of a frightened victim. Universal licensed artwork previously used for the metal band "Krokus" - it appeared on their 1989 album "Stayed Awake All Night."
The demon biting the eyelid’s name is “Eye Gore”.
