No icon, no problem.

Even if the t-shirts went without an evil clown or doomed doctor this year, at least the marketing got more personal - a cell phone in a dead hand, showing one last text message: “I’m closer than you think.” As had become the Howl-O-Scream way, returning houses were revised and improved, but only one new haunted house, Trapped in the Walls, was added. In its final year, Freaked! would be the last haunted house built in the park’s historic Bird Gardens until an upcharge attraction was added in 2010. Control-Alt-Deceased, a new show for 2006, would be the last time Busch Gardens attempted a pop culture parody show.
