Familiar faces of death.

Though Scarlett returned in Unearthed, the mascot this year was a dummy, the ventriloquist kind, though its eyes seemed awfully alive. Evil Encore was just that, a victory lap of 2015’s best with two new houses in the mix. These two - Motel Hell and The Black Spot - would soon become some of the event’s longest-running staples. Though it may have been light on firsts, 2016 still laid the groundwork for years of Howl-O-Scream to come.
